So pretty much, if all goes well, the Minecraft Pip Boy will work just like the Fallout version. The wish list for the Minecraft Pip Boy's features include giving it a radio, have it store notes, include local and world maps and handle inventory. Project Wasteland hopes that it's version of the Pip Boy for Minecraft will allow players to use all its buttons as well as track their statistics and conditions.
